Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Wildlife Park
First Zoo of Turkey was established in 1937, in Kültürpark. This Zoo moved to an area of 425 in Çiğli Sasalı, and was turn into first Wildlife Park of Turkey.
In line with the unanimous decision of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Council on January 11, 2010, İzmir Wildlife Park applied for candidacy to the European Zoological Gardens and Aquariums Union (EAZA) and after the inspection and audits, it became a full member on April 3, 2011.
The Wildlife Park, where animals freely live in the animal houses designed specifically for them and similar to their natural habitats and where the city as well as the urbanites take a deep breath with thousands of trees and plants in it, has become one of the centers of attraction in İzmir in a short period of time.
In the park, which was established to satisfy the society's longing for nature and to create natural and sheltered environments for animals, animals brought from different geographies of the world.

I’ve visited more than 40 times maybe , i took all my guests here , amazing place , must see , clean air , friendly stuff , perfect wild life park , has 2 cafes from where you can find drinks and fastfoods,has very large parking lot , from bostanlı there is bus to reach there , as i remember.Please dont forget to take your cameras , enjoy.
