Bornova Aşık Veysel Recreation Area is one of sport, entertainment and art centers of İzmir since 2010 with olymph ice sports hall, open air theatre for 5 thousand people, green area of 125 thousand square meters, pond of 1500 square meters, cafeterias, mini football field, basketball and tennis court, children's playgrounds, bicycle and walking trails. This facility has the ice sports hall, tribune of 1.819 spectators, parking area for 641 cars, curtain system from polycarbonate sheets on 61-meter reinforced concrete wall on its rear facade for preventing the noise.
