Tuzakoğlu Flour Factory, located in Konak District, Halkapınar Mahallesi, Şehitler Caddesi No: 138-140 / 1, became a Vocational Factory affiliated to İzmir Metropolitan Municipality as a result of today's re-functioning.

The history

Although the date of establishment is not known exactly, it is thought that it was established between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The most important reason for the building, which is thought to be the first steam flour factory, to choose a place in this area is its proximity to the water source.
